Create an Organized Environment

Begin by taking a nice deep breath and letting it out slowly… Take another nice deep breath and feel your mind and body relaxing completely… As you take another nice deep breath, feel the relaxation moving slowly down over your scalp… across your forehead…
down over your eyes… and feel your eyes relaxing completely… Facial muscles relaxing… jaws relaxing … and allow your jaws to part slightly as they completely relax…
Now feel your entire head so relaxed and peaceful…. Feel that relaxation moving down your neck, so all the muscles of your neck let go and relax completely…completely letting go… Allow that beautiful feeling of relaxation to flow down over your shoulders… down both arms… relaxing the upper arms… elbows…forearms…wrists… hands… and fingers… and allow any tension to drift out through the tips of your fingers…
Arms now completely relaxed… so calm…feeling wonderful… And begin to feel that relaxation move down your back… from the base of your neck… down each vertebra… Feel each vertebra letting go and all the muscles relaxing completely… Feeling so good… peaceful… calm.
Gently, the relaxation now flows down from the front of your neck… down over your chest… feel your chest relaxing completely… With each breath your relaxation becomes deeper and deeper… Abdomen now relaxing… letting go… feeling the sensation of everything being calm… peaceful… Allow the relaxation to move down over your hip area.. Feel yourself sink deeper into the cushion… relaxing… letting go of any tightness… completely relaxing your entire hip and seat area…
Relaxation now moving down both legs… Feel the muscles relaxing as the relaxation moves slowly down from the hips… thighs… knees… calves… ankles… feet… and into your toes… As the relaxation moves through your feet, all tension drifts out completely through the tips of your toes…. Legs now completely relaxed… calm… Feel you entire body totally, deeply relaxed and peaceful… With every breath allow yourself to relax even more deeply.
Imagine yourself outside on a lovely mountain. And imagine now that a beautiful, fluffy, soft cloud descends near you … See yourself gently stepping onto the cloud and allow yourself to lie down and feel the softness, yet support of this lovely cloud. This cloud will transport you safely to where you will see yourself as you truly are, confident and organized in your perfect environment.
Sink in and feel the cloud gently starting to drift. Floating…drifting… taking you to a very special place where you will know that you are the confident, organized person you desire. Floating…drifting… taking you to the most beautiful place you can imagine…
As the cloud drifts, I will count down from 10 to 1… and with each number you will allow yourself to relax even deeper. 10… peaceful calm…9 … going deeper, deeper relaxed… 8 feeling wonderful, peaceful… deeper… 7 going deeper, feeling calm, confident, totally relaxed… 6… deeper… and 5… even deeper… 4 enjoying this beautiful… peaceful sensation… totally trusting… totally secure…3 deeper… relaxing deeper… 2 … calm, in harmony with everything… and 1 deeply, deeply relaxed and at ease.
Your cloud gently touches down in a beautiful garden and before you, you see a lovely home. As you easily step off the cloud you take in all the sights and sounds of this peaceful, harmonious environment. You recognize this place as that which expresses the true you—a person with peace and harmony in his/her environment. After taking in all the gifts of the landscape of the home, you enter the welcoming door, knowing that here is your connection to the way you truly want to express your life.
As you enter and explore this home, you see that everything has a place; everything serves a purpose of usefulness and/or beauty. You feel yourself saying to yourself, “This is who I am… an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity.” You know that you can create this environment wherever you might be, at home, in the office, because it is a reflection of you. You continue through the home, the home and in each lovely room you again say to yourself, “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity.”
Feel the calmness of the environment, the use of space to reflect what is important to you. You are inspired to live your life surrounded by this type of environment. Again you feel the strong commitment as you think, “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity.”
You make a promise to yourself that you will commit to at least one half hour a day to create this environment in your life. “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity… I joyfully and eagerly commit to spending at least one half hour a day creating this environment in my life.”
Each time you say this to yourself, you remember the beautiful environment you saw as you traveled on your special cloud. You know you can create the same feeling wherever you are. The resources your need to accomplish this will come to you now that you know you expressing yourself best in an organized, peaceful environment of beauty and simplicity. Your statement to yourself, “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity,” will be your inspiration to take whatever action is needed.
And now, I will be quiet for a few moments while you picture yourself in your actual environment which is totally organized and expresses your love of beauty and simplicity. As you picture this, say to yourself, “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity. I joyfully and eagerly commit to spending at least one half hour a day creating this environment in my life.”
(I will be quiet for about 2 minutes)
And now, taking the inspiration and connection from this experience you can again step onto your soft, beautiful cloud as we prepare to return to this room. Feel yourself filled with motivation as you think, “I am an organized person, whose environment expresses my love of beauty and simplicity. I joyfully and eagerly commit to spending at least one half hour a day creating this environment in my life.”
I am now going to count up from 1 to 5 and with each number your cloud will gently rise and bring you back on the count of 5. With each number you will feel more energy.. but your sense of calmness will remain. 1… feeling good, feeling sensations in your body… 2 … drifting up, noticing your breath, 3 … being more aware of sounds in the room, 4 … feeling your energy level rising, feeling peaceful, but inspired and filled with gratitude and energy, and 5 (snap fingers) feeling great, wide awake.
