Basic Math Exercises

People use mathematics in everyday life. Everybody knows mathematics more or less. Everybody has adequate potential to master basic math. When you have solved a mathematics exercise, you feel good, you feel proud, you feel successful, and you feel motivated to do more exercises. The more you know mathematics the more you want to know mathematics.
You become more and more interested in mathematics exercises.
Mathematics exercises enhance your reasoning power. They speed up your learning in all subjects. They are improving your reasoning techniques and habits.
Your ever improving math knowledge and skill is adding more and more points into the grades of all subjects you are learning and the subjects you will learn in the future, too. Therefore, they increase your potential for abundance in education, knowledge, and wealth. They are also fun themselves.
You like computer games. Games have some rules to obey. So do mathematics. Games have a goal to attain. So do math exercises. Your mind is usually absorbed in games. Math exercises also absorb your attention. It’s a pleasure doing games. Doing math exercises are even greater pleasure for you. They are a great deal of fun.
Imagine, now, that you are sitting at a table with a piece of paper on it. On it, there is a stack of blank paper sheets, too. On the paper, there’s a pencil. Imagine the paper and pencil. There’s another sheet of paper with a printed exercise on it. Visualize the scene. If you have difficulty in visualizing then just imagine.
You imagine that you just feel like preparing to play a game. It is a pleasure. You feel good. You are comfortable. You mind become quiet and relaxed. You concentrate on the exercise.
Everything is fine and comfortable. You are about to do mathematics exercises both for fun and practice. You feel confident that you can do the exercise to the end. You feel happy. You feel confident. You feel proud in that your math skill and knowledge is increasing.
Imagine that you are about to do a mathematics exercise. By just imagining it, you feel good. You feel happy. You want to read the exercise.
You feel confident in completing an exercise. You feel safe because you have confidence in your potential, experience and you know that you have examples to learn if you need, you have books and notes to review again if needed. Moreover, the exercises are designed just to give you practice.
Exercises are designed in such a way that if one understands examples, then one can do exercises. You know that correct solutions to exercises are available to you for later checking. You know that examples are clear enough and that after learning the examples, you can always do exercises successfully. You are sure that you can do it!
You now read the exercise carefully once. Your mind becomes calm, comfortable, peaceful, energetic, and concentrated. Your mind organizes thoughts automatically. While reading, you try to understand the whole situation described in the exercise.
You read it for the second time, picking up key points habitually, underlying or highlighting them where needed. You read it slowly and attentively, but in a relaxed state of mind. You become concentrated on the situation described in the exercise. You read it slowly, but with full attention and strong concentration. You grasp key points quickly.
Doing a new exercise is also like going on a trip to a new place. Just as you are anxious to see new things on the new trip, you are anxious to progress towards the target of the exercise. You feel good in connecting given facts in the exercise and you see that a complete solution is unfolding itself. Finding relations among the given facts is fun for you. Just thinking makes you feel good. You write down numbers, letters, drawing figures on a spacious sheet of paper to clarify ideas.
When you have reached the target of the exercise, you feel great, successful, proud and happy. You say to yourself, “I did it, I did it.” You become more confident than ever in your ability of doing math exercises. You think that you can do the exercise in quite a short time although you take your time and do slowly and carefully.
Now imagine that you are composing your solution. You compose the solution carefully. You are composing a simple, correct and complete solution. When finished, you read it again line after line improving where necessary. You are satisfied with your solution. You are interested also in the art of composing solution, inasmuch as you are interested in analyzing the situation described in the exercise and solving it.
Composing a solution is like composing a poem. It is also like composing an essay. It is also like composing a musical note. It is like writing a story. It is like narrating a story to a friend. Writing a solution to a mathematics exercise improves your writing communication skill. It is a presentation exercise. You are using your communication skill in everyday life.
Your power in building your bright future becomes greater and greater. You feel happy. You feel proud. You feel safe about your studies. You feel confident. You feel satisfied. You feel relaxed. You are better and better in logical reasoning. You are better and better in your studies. You are better and better in mathematics skill and knowledge. You are better and better in communication. You become more and more creative. You feel proud. You feel abundant about your life. You feel happy.
