I’m in a WAR with Myself – Hypnosis Dilemma
Today I’d like to discuss an interesting topic with you…
Andre submitted a YouTube comment saying this:
I’m in a war with myself… the desire to help people help themselves, and the need to make an income.
Well Andre I have the answer that will end your struggle…
I hear this a lot from people…
There’s the misconception that:
- If you charge people you can’t help as many as you like and
- The more you charge the less people you can help.
- If you do it for free or volunteer your services you’ll be helping so many more people who need it…
WRONG!
Why?
If you do something for nothing it’s perceived as being WORTH nothing!
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do a session for free…
Either:
- Charge then
- Barter
- Trade
- Have them make you dinner for a week… but not free!
TRIANGLE OF SUCCESS
Desire – The Want–to, Scale of 1-10
Belief – They think it can be done and YOU can do it. (Professionalism and confidence of practitioner)
Compensation $$$ – What are you willing to commit to the change? Cash, barter, inconvenience…
REMEMBER: We’re looking for Change and not Same!
The mentality of payment…
Raluca’s Experience- charge $60 – $125 and $200 per session
So to sum it up:
Do you want to give your talent away for free to those who’ll take it but really care less
And go broke in the process? – or – Do you want to help those who really want to be helped and make an income doing it?
Yes we all want to help the world… but The question is… does the world really want to be helped?
Some do… so this is how to target in on those and make an income.
Obviously if you’re having a hard time keeping your head above water you’ll be miserable… and it will show in your results… If you’re making a great income you’ll be happier; you’ll do a better job and be able to help MORE people in the long run…
