What Is It:
Dark Psychology Hypnosis is the phenomena by which people use mental suggestion, manipulation, persuasion or even coercion to get what they want.
While some people know exactly what they’re doing, intentionally manipulating you to their desires, others use them without even being aware of it. Maybe even you?
Children learn many of these concepts from their parents. When they use a technique that works to get what they want, they continue to use it to keep getting their way. It’s basic human behavior?
When it comes to sales; you can see it everywhere! An example would be a experienced salesman who really believes in his product and feels that everyone could benefit greatly by purchasing it. With this mentality the salesman can easily use manipulative methods to persuade the client to purchase his product.
Since he believes it’s a win-win situation for both him and the client, it opens him up to being able to use any tactics available that will get the sale.
What makes the technique “dark” is whether they’re used in an “ethical” or “unethical” manner.
- Are they being used for the benefit of the client?
