Today we begin a positive approach to obtaining a new slimmer, healthier, more attractive body that you desire. This is a change that you desire, and the reason you have come here today.
You have made a commitment to this change, and as we speak this change is happening within you. During the session I will give you some suggestions that will make this change a permanent one in the way in which you live, and the choices that you make about food. These suggestions that I make today are going to take you from where you are currently to your desired weight. These suggestions will take root in the deepest part of your subconscious mind, where all change begins and is affected. These suggestions will become part of every cell of your brain and your body, and will remain with you forever allowing you once and for all to win the battle you have had with weight control.
You will be amazed at just how effective these suggestions will be, and just how much they will become part of your day to day life. These changes will forever alter your patterns and thoughts about food. The suggestions are made to allow you to better control your desires when it comes to dealing with food. In the past you have eaten primarily because of ____________ Yet my suggestions today will better help you to deal with those issues that up till this time have plagued you.
My suggestions will make you an effective and successful person when it comes to dealing with your weight, and achieving your desired goals. Starting today and from this point on you will use this brand new method, a method that you have not used up to this point to deal with your weight management. You have chosen hypnosis as a positive means to effect this change that you desire and to attain your ultimate goal. Hypnosis is a great tool in allowing us to permanently changing our emotional reactions to food, and to eating in general. Hypnosis is a new positive approach, an approach that will allow you to obtain the goal weight that you desire. Understand however that it is not a magic cure, and just like it took time for you to reach your current weight it will take time for you to reach your desired goal weight. But this process is the beginning of a new phase in your life where you will initiate a good positive approach toward food and your eating habits.
Understand that as you begin this new phase of your life, this new positive attitude toward food, that you will enjoy food, that you will like food, and that you must eat food, but that you will make better choices when it comes to the foods that you desire and portion controls. You will create permanent positive changes in your eating habits. From this point on you will prove to your own satisfaction that eating the foods that you need physiologically will entirely satisfy you; just like drinking all the water you need to sustain your health and to promote weight loss satisfies your thirst. You will enjoy drinking plenty of water, at least six to eight glasses a day. Cool, refreshing, crystal clear water. Instead of treating your appetite as an enemy, you will from this point on work within the framework of your inborn normal reflexes, you will make your appetite your friend, your appetite is important to you and to your very survival, and you will pay attention to it. Slim people have appetites too.
Attractive people have appetites too. They pay close attention to their appetites and then make smart decisions when it comes to the foods that they choose to put into their bodies. Hypnosis makes a friend of your appetite, not an enemy of it. Before today you have been paying attention to your appetite, but not fully understanding the message that your appetite was sending to you. When your appetite sends the signal that says. “Eat, I am hungry” you ate until you were full, maybe even beyond full. But, now in your new relationship with your appetite, your new friendlier relationship, better understanding relationship, you will listen to the whole message that your appetite is delivering, and you will heed it’s advice. When it says, Eat, I am hungry, you will eat, but you will choose to eat better, healthier foods, and less food. You will eat slower, and use a smaller plate, you will put down your spoon or fork between bites and chew your food 20 times between bites, and you will no longer eat until you are full, but now will eat until you are satisfied.
From this point on you will realize that eating till you are full is overeating. When you prepare a meal do not bring the meal to the table, leave it either on the stove, or on the counter, and serve yourself from there, take only what you desire to eat, and don’t feel bad about leaving food on your plate, as a matter of fact feel good about leaving a little food on your plate. Up until now your desire for food has been controlled by emotions rather than by hunger. It is appropriate to eat when you are hungry, but never appropriate to eat to satisfy psychological or emotional cravings. Starting right now, starting this very minute you will be more in tune with your true appetite. The inner voice of your body telling you that you are hungry, and when you begin to eat you will eat only until you are satisfied.
When you eat slowly, chewing your food, and taking your time to eat, your body will send the message to your mind that you are satisfied, and at that time you will stop eating. From this point on you will desire nutritious foods, and will have the willpower to pass by the foods that are not necessary, like the late night snacks, the foods loaded with sugars and carbohydrates, the quick lunches from the fast food restaurants, just to name a few. You must eat and should plan your days accordingly, with a healthy breakfast, because we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and should never be skipped.
The body has been fasting since meal time the night before and when that happens your metabolism slows down to prevent the body from starving itself, by eating a good healthy breakfast you jumpstart your metabolism and start your day off right. This is not a diet, and you need to understand that, it is not a diet, but a new way of life. Today you are staring a new healthy life style, of making new healthy choices when it comes to the food that you will eat. Diets fail but life changes are forever.
Slim people eat, just like you, and you eat just like thin people do, you are thin. You will begin more and more to enjoy physical activity, starting out maybe with just short leisurely walks maybe two or three times per week. You are building up your stamina and then increasing the length of your walks, the frequency of your walks and even the intensity of them to the point that you will be walking five to seven times per week. You find yourself being energized when you walk, feeling invigorated and refreshed.
You will no longer say, “I don’t have time to walk today” or “I don’t feel like walking today.” But you will look forward to the time spent on your walk, enjoying the fresh air, and the sunlight, or the window shopping at the mall. You enjoy your time of peace and serenity, walking either with a friend having pleasant conversation or walking by yourself in time of reflection and solitude. Feeling like the new you, the healthier, and more attractive you with each walk you take you are getting closer and closer to your new life, your new goal weight. In your mind’s eye I want you to see yourself not in your current state, but I want you to focus in on the new you, the thinner you, the more attractive you. I want you to see yourself at your goal weight.
No longer are you overweight, you have succeeded and you marvel in your success. You feel good about this awesome accomplishment. From this point on you will think thin, you will act thin, you will think healthy, and you will act healthy, and you will eat healthy, and you will be healthy. You will feel wonderful in every way. The words diet and dieting have been removed from your mind in reference to yourself, dieting and the thoughts of dieting after all makes you think of starving and starvation kicks in your instinct of self preservation and will be replaced with the thoughts of eating when you need to eat, and the foods that you need to eat to sustain the new healthier, thinner, more attractive you.
The idea of yo-yo dieting is gone forever, you are through with that concept. When you see people that have not seen you in a while they approach you and they tell you just how great you look, and ask how you have lost so much weight, remember that your reply should always be, “I simply changed the way that I thought about food” It is very important that you monitor and record your success. Maybe even keeping a journal recording what you eat and the positive changes that you have made. Recording your weight loss and documenting it so you can look back at your success and become motivated to keep on. You are feeling incredible in your new life, in your new body. Keeping track of your success is paramount to continued success. This will become a part of your day to day life, just as important as eating, is the recording and documenting your success.
Knowing that this journey will not happen overnight you must however set some realistic goals of accomplishment so that you continue to be motivated. Let’s set your first goal at loosing ten pounds in a month, and when you succeed, and you will, then you will set another achievable goal, and so on, and so on, until you reach that final day when you have reached your goal weight. You have restored your body’s own natural appetite controls; remember you eat only when you are hungry, and only until you are satisfied. You eat slowly, and chew your food thoroughly. Your body will tell you that you are satisfied. You no longer eat on the go; you enjoy your meals and plan them according to maintaining your new life.
WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING THAT IS CONTRARY TO YOUR NEW BELIEFS ABOUT FOOD, WHEN YOU ARE TEMPTED TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING THAT YOU KNOW IS WRONG FOR YOU. YOU WILL HAVE THE WILLPOWER TO SAY “NO” AND NOT FALTER, YET MAKE APPROPRIATE CHOICES FOR YOU. THE REWARDS OF BEING SLIMMER, HEALTHIER, AND MORE ATTRACTIVE ARE FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE FEW SECONDS OF PLEASURE DERIVED FROM A POOR EATING CHOICE. THE REWARDS OF BEING THINNER, MORE ATTRACTIVE, MORE DESIRABLE, SEXIER, AND HEALTHIER ARE MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU THAN EATING DECEITFUL FOODS THAT YOU KNOW ARE WRONG FOR YOU. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life and always remember that the “Body is a temple” you are the master of the temple and nothing should be done to defile the temple of your being.
